DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale forest national park

Transfer to Kibale forest National park: Day 1 of 8 days Uganda safari, you will be met and picked up by our company representative and transferred for lunch at the hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and then embark on the journey to Kibale forest national park a home to 13 species of primates. Upon arrival at the park, you will check in enjoy your dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and connect to Queen Elizabeth national park

Chimpanzee trekking: day 2 of 8 days Uganda safari, you will wake up on breakfast, then be transferred to the park headquarters where you will have a briefing about chimpanzee trekking in the jungle and then alongside armored rangers and tour guides you will trail deep into the forest and search for the chimpanzees which have been habituated and ready for a trekking to spend an hour in their presence. After chimpanzee trekking return to the lodge, enjoy your lunch and check out of the lodge to embark on the journey to another park.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park: You will be driven by your guide to Queen Elizabeth National Park a home to the rare tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and have an overnight

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Morning game drive: after an early morning breakfast on day 3 of 8 days Uganda safari, meet the driver to head to Kasenyi plains which is the best place for a game drive as it has the largest number of wildlife that are eye-catching. Once you are done with a game drive, return to the lodge for Lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise: after having lunch at your lodge, have a drive to Kazinga channel where you will spend 2 hours on a boat cruise. You will watch a great congestion of hippos, crocodiles, and other herbivores that visit the shores to quench their thirst. After the boat cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and have an overnight stay.

Day 4: Tree climbing lions and transfer to Bwindi

Tree climbing lions: on day 4 of 8 days Uganda safari, you will wake up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast and meet your driver to have a game drive in Ishasha sector as you watch the tree climbing lions overlooking the Uganda kob they target the next meal. After the game drive, have a lunch break under the tree or visit any lodge within ishasha sector.
Transfer to Bwindi: After having lunch in ishasha, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park which is about 3-5 hours depending on the sector for gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Once you arrive, you will check in, have dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking

Gorilla trekking: On the 5th day of 8 days Uganda safari, you will have an early breakfast, then embark on the journey to trek gorillas which starts with a briefing at the park headquarters and then once in the jungle you will spend an hour with gorillas. After trekking gorillas, return to the lodge and freshen up as you await for dinner and overnight. You may have some optional evening activity such as Batwa or nature walks.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park

Transfer to Lake Mburo national park: On day 6 of 8 days Uganda safari, you will wake up on a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and start the journey to Lake Mburo national park. You will have an enroute lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center and have another stopover for some beautiful photographs as you see herds of cattle, proceed to the park for check in dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge/ birdnest lodge outside the park near the park boundary.

Day 7: morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Morning game drive: on the 7th days out of 8 days Uganda safari, you will have a morning game drive in the park with possibility of spotting Zebras, buffalos and other wildlife that reside in the park. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise: Once you are done with your lunch, have an afternoon boat cruise where you will see mammals along the shores as they quench their thirst. You will also watch lots of water birds among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and have a good night sleep after dinner.

Day 8: Return to Kampala for departures
