6 Days Uganda Primate Trekking: Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked by the driver guide to head to Kibale forest national park you will pass through Mityana -Mubende towns as you enjoy the many fascinating views. You will have your lunch meal in Hoima and then proceed towards Kibale forest as you take photos of the scenic environment. When you arrive you will take a visit to the crater lakes region, then get to the lodge for an overnight.

Destination: Kibale National Park
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Take your early morning meal .head for briefing and entre the forest to trek the chimps. Take on a full hour on finding them you will agree that they are surely related to humans. Various other primate species which will be seen in the forest alongside the chimps. Head to lodge for lunch and then pack your bags and leave for Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon which will take you about three hours and you will still see wildlife as you approach the park and in the park itself. On arrival check in dinner, and overnight.

Destination: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
You will have a warm cup of tea and then head for the early morning game drive to view the early risers in Kasenyi track, get chance to view animals like the lions, elephants, solitary buffalos, Kobs, Antelopes, and a lot more. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch then head for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, and you won’t miss on seeing the birdlife. Return to the lodge for your dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depart for Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will be able to view the mountain gorillas closely. So this morning you will have breakfast and head for the car to your next destination. We will use the Ishasha sector so that to have chance of seeing the famous tree climbing lions. On the way u will have lunch and head for the park for check in and have dinner and a night’s sleep.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Forest and Visit the Batwa
With a packed breakfast and having had your delicious breakfast ,meal you will then get into the car to drive to the briefing center to know more about what is going to happen in the forest. Thereafter head to the forest to search for the primates in the forest you will find them with help from the rangers and while with them you are allowed a full hour to interact with them as you observe the way they relate. There after you will transfer to the lodge to freshen up and then head for the Batwa walk in the evening to enjoy their vibrant dances and the various activities that they engage in and have a living from. Back to the lodge for dinner evening relaxation at the previous lodge.
Day 6: Departure back to Kampala
Pack up your things and head to the dining for your breakfast meal and then be ready to transfer to Kampala with lunch enroute in Mbarara town with a stop at the equator if you choose so. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening as we reach the very end of your safari.
