Day 1, pick up clients from hotel in Moshi and drive to Machame gate (1 hour drive) then sign in and start to hike from Machame gate to Machame camp ( 11 kms, 4-5 hours.

Day 2-trek from Machame camp to Shira Cave camp ( 4-5 hrs) 7 kms.

Day 3, trek from Shira Cave camp to Baranco Camp.( 10 kms. 6-7 hours.

Day 4, trek from Baranco camp to Karanga valley camp.( 3-4 hours, 4 kms)

Day 5, trek from Karanga camp to  Barafu base camp ( 3-4 hours, 3 kms).

Day 6, midnight , ascend from Barafu camp to Uhuru peak summit then descend back after summit to Barafu camp. 6 kms 6 hours up to summit and 6 kms and 3 hours down to Barafu camp for 2-3 hours short brake, then descend more down from Barafu camp to High camp ( 4kms 2 hours) or Mweka camp ( 7 kms 4 hours.

Day 7- descend down from High camp ( 5 hours 13 kms)or Mweka camp to Mweka exit gate. ( 10 kms, 3-4 hours) , then sign out and drive back to Hotel in Moshi.

The difference  between 6 days and 7 days Machame route trip is on Day 4. 6 days 5 nights hikers are not overnight at Karanga camp, they skip Karanga camp and go to Barafu camp all the way from Baranco camp. All other programs are the same.

The price includes transport from hotel and transport back to the hotel in Moshi town, price includes camping equipment such as tents, chairs and table, price includes wages for guides and porters, food 3 meals during the trip and all park fees and government fees.

The price does not include hotel accommodation before and after the trip, does not include airport transfers, does not include personal climbing gears such as sleeping bags, hiking boots, hiking poles and other important warm clothes. Also the price does not include TIPS for crews after the trip.
